Stay ahead: Upgrade DataMiner and move away from .NET 8

.NET 8 is nearing its end of life, and DataMiner is ready for the transition. The latest DataMiner releases (DataMiner 10.6.11, 10.6.0 CU8, and 10.5.0 CU20) have moved to .NET 10, making now a good time to plan your upgrade and move away from .NET 8.

Microsoft will end support for .NET 8 on November 10, 2026. From that point on, the .NET 8 runtime will no longer receive bug fixes and security patches, leaving your system exposed to potential risks. Upgrading to the latest DataMiner versions keeps your system on a supported platform and ensures it remains secure and continues to receive critical updates and fixes.

Before you begin the upgrade process, make sure you have the .NET 10 hosting bundle installed on your system. Once you have successfully upgraded your DataMiner System and updated all DxMs to the latest available versions, you can safely remove the .NET 8 runtime from your machines.

Don't wait until it's too late. Upgrade your DataMiner System, move to .NET 10, and stay ahead, ensuring continued security.
