What user rights (in the DataMiner user) are needed to deploy a connector from the Catalog?
Just to give the full answer.
As mentioned by Simon the DataMiner user rights shown by Alberto are only needed to update existing connectors through DCP, it does not apply for deploying new connectors from the catalog.
No DataMiner permissions are necessary for a user to be able to deploy a connector to a specific system. The users needs to be added to the system on dataminer.services (which you can do in the DCP Admin App, procedure described in the docs here).
Hope this fully answers your question, if not feel free to get in touch.
New to this possibility, tbh, but I'd assume you'd need to be a DM admin for the destination cluster and have sufficient rights on the cloud side to fetch the related connector.
Have you already tried with having all the checkbox enabled under "Protocol & Templates"?
That is currently allowing a user to download the protocols via the
"update center" link at the top right corner:
To add a protocol via the old DCP, these had to be enabled:

This is only for updates to existing connectors through DCP. Not deploying new connectors from the catalog.
This requires a connection to dataminer.services and I believe the rights to deploy app packages. Perhaps one of our cloud team can confirm.
More info – https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Cloud_Platform/Catalog/Deploying_A_DataMiner_Connector_to_your_system.html – Doesn’t include the DMA user rights needed.
This permission is only necessary to update via the Update Center in Cube.
