Hi
In the System Center I add in the tab "groups" a new domain group from the active directory. This group contain arround 2000 users. I deleted this group but on the tab "user" the 2000 user are still there. Shouldn't this be deleted in this tab?
Kind regards
Stefan
Hi Stefan, they should indeed be removed.
When a domain group is removed from DataMiner, these users should indeed not be present anymore on DataMiner.
I would suggest to take a log dump using the Log Collector and to contact our support.
Thank you very much for your comment. Regarding your test Miguel and Jeroen’s link the automatically added users should be deleted after I removed the domain group. But this is not the case.
This is likely to be a bug. I will contact the support team of Skyline.
Thank you very much for your support
Kind regards
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
When you delete a group in Cube, it is the expected behavior that the users in this group are not deleted. The users need to be deleted seperatly.
Hi Michaël, Stefan has added a domain group, and therefor all those users are added on DataMiner.
These users can not be removed from DataMiner unless they are either removed from the domain group, or if the domain group is removed from DataMiner.
To confirm the statement from Jeroen. I performed a small test by adding/removing a domain group and I could verify that the domain users are removed. Only remark is that I performed this query with a small amount of users in the group (aprox. 20). Tested using DMA version 10.3.4.0
