We are trying to connect DataMiner to EVS Cerebrum but continue to see timeout errors in Stream Viewer.
Can someone please indicate what is the correct way to configure Cerebrum?
Might be we do not have the correct licenses. What license should be requested so that we can communicate with DataMiner via WebSocket.
Update (July 12th): Upgraded and applied new licenses. Still to able to connect.
Thanks in advance
Yes, we entered the credentials.
You might be missing the correct license in Cerebrum. It only supports 1 client (that is open at the moment) and no web and northbound api is enabled.
Is it possible run Cerebrum in demo mode to confirm?
Hi Gerwin, customer upgraded Cerebrum to the latest version and acquired additional licenses as you can see in the new image. Still not being able to connect. How do we activate demo mode and how it will help us troubleshoot? Is anything else we can try? Thanks.
It is somewhere n the option menu, after restarting you have to contact EVS and thell provide you with an key that enables all but will stop after 3 hours.
If the northbound api is enabled through the web licenses it should work.
It might be an firewall issue. Maybe try an websocket tester and check locally on the Cerebrum server itself if the port is open and able to connect, then within the same network, up to the DMA
The Catalog says
To be able to log in to the WebSocket API, specify the Username and Password on the General Page. When the login is successful, the API Version will be shown, and the connector will subscribe to all the enabled topics.
Have you entered the credentials ?
