Hi Dojo,
I would like to configure some DxMs (User Definable API, DataAggregator) in my new DMS available in DaaS. Checking the documentation, I have to create new files (appsettings.custom.json) in 'C:\Program Files\Skyline Communications\DataMiner NameDxM\' where I can apply custom settings on these DxMs. Since we don't have remote access to these servers, is there a way to configure these settings?
The same applies for debugging. Log files generated by these DxMs are located in 'C:\ProgramData\Skyline Communications\DataMiner NameDxM\'. Is there a way to access to these log files?
Thanks,
Hi,
For DaaS Express there shouldn't be any need to make adjustments to (custom) appsettings. Can you pinpoint for what it exactly would be required?
The log files of DxMs are included in log collector packages, so by doing a remote log collection you can access the logs.

I see, the DataAggregator DxM is not owned by my domain so I don’t know all details about it. For now I don’t think there is another way than adjusting it on the server itself. They might need to find another way of configuring it instead of in appsettings, so this can be adjusted from dataminer.services or cube.
For now, it’s indeed through these files so you need to have server access. However, moving forward, we aim to transition to a web interface for enhanced convenience.
Hi all,
Thanks for your answer. Sebastiaan, Is there already a task for this new web interface, or should I create a feature suggestion?
No task for this yet, feel free to raise a new feature request for this.
For the Data Aggregator DxM, the current way to configure it is by adding an appsettings.custom.json file and adding there the GQI queries
