Hi,
Next to the Ticketing module, which other license modules causes RTEs when there is no active Elasticsearch database? Would it be possible please to list up all these modules?
Yeah found some requirements in the docs: https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Advanced_Modules/Job_Manager/Job_Manager.html.
Note that both Jobs and Ticketing are being retired.
Hi Jordy,
Those alarms or notices have been removed since v10.3.9 (or v10.4 for main release). See the following RN for more details, including which modules can generate this:
DataMiner Cube Feature Release 10.3.9 | DataMiner Docs
The notification was there to warn you of the fact that this module was activated in the licensing, but the DMA does not meet the requirements because there is no indexing engine. The notice is now only shown when you go to that module and no longer after every restart in the alarm console.
Bert
Bert & Jordy, our system has notices for IDP too: I believe there was a different kind of license to get rid of the annoying RTEs, keen to understand if these notices will also go away with an upgrade to 10.4 (staying on main release):
based on the page linked by Bert, I'm led to think this IDP module falls in the notices removed for Resource Manager?
Found these too:
Also noticed some messages in dataminer>Logging
these are referred as RTEs towards the SLResourceManager, however they’re referred to “Service Manager”
Hi Alberto, the notices from your screenshot should indeed also be gone with an upgrade to 10.4. Your notices do indicate ‘Resource Manager Info’ in the parameter description column, and those are indeed mentioned in the release note. So, they should be gone after an upgrade.
And you are correct, we can also provide a license without that module activated, and then the notices will also be gone.
I am pretty sure that the Jobs module will do the same.
