I'm trying to get the logs of a DataMiner agent but whenever I open the LogCollector from the Skyline Taskbar Utility I will get the following message:
Is there something misconfigured in my agent? The DM version is FR 10.3.11

It looks like Windows could not translate/convert the prefix "\\?\".
I'm currently checking the code, but I don't see something immediately that could be blamed.
Unless you are using the log tool on a system that does not have the directory "C:\Skyline DataMiner\".
Is this issue consistent on the system where you experience the issue?
Very wild guess: could it be that you need to restart/reboot Windows because of updates?
Another possible reason for this issue is that the log tool does not have sufficient permissions to access the path. You may want to check the permissions of your user account and ensure that it has the necessary permissions to access the directory.
I don't think you need to update the tool version, because your screenshot shows the version number and indicates it is a recent version.

Hi Matthias, thanks for the feedback. I thought it could be related to permissions because I have to use Remediant in these servers. (this pretty much turns on/off admin access), but after testing with a permanent administrator account the issue was still there.
I will see after the next Windows restart if the issue is gone.

Can you try downloading and installing again the tool from Dojo (SLLogCollector)?
I remember I saw similar issues in the past and most of them were solved by downloading and installing again the tool.

Hi Miguel, that was suggested by another collegue in the office and it worked. Still it would be good to know what’s missing on the tool installed in the server.

Can you open the console(left bottom) and click on the "Show detailed logfile".
This will open the logfile of logcollector, can you check if you see something obvious?

Hi Debeuf, I updated the question with the console image. It is not telling a lot towards what the problem is.
You can try to open it from C: –> Skyline DataMiner –> Tools folder. Or, kill the taskbar utility program and open it again and then open Log Collector.
