Work in progress: Dynamic units in Data Display

The Nucleus squad is working on implementing a first MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for dynamic units in Data Display in DataMiner Cube. Dynamic units will make very large or very small numbers a lot more easy to read.

This change will be available via a soft-launch option, so that users can experiment with it already before it is fully released. The feedback we receive will direct our next steps for this feature.

Dynamic units will convert parameter values to the best fitting unit for the current value.

Some basic units (for example bits and bytes) will be converted automatically. Others can be defined in the element protocol.

Hopefully you are as excited about this feature as we are. Let us know what you think!
