The DataMiner documentation is continuously growing and improving. That’s why from time to time we like to provide you with a summary of all things new in the DataMiner Docs.
Here’s a quick overview of the changes we’ve done to the documentation for DataMiner 10.4.8:
- With several new options in the analytics config section in System Center and in trend templates, you can now determine in the finest detail for which parameters trend icons, behavioral anomaly detection, and proactive cap detection are enabled.
- In Visual Overview, the new RegexMatch placeholder allows you to specify a regular expression and input in order to return the parts of the input that match the regular expression.
- In the Documents module, it is now possible to add subfolders on element level.
- In the SRM framework, the new SkipDcfLinks function resource setting makes it possible to disable the creation of DCF connections for a function DVE at the start and the end of a booking.
Mastering DataMiner Augmented Operations
With the update to the DataMiner Augmented Operations Suite in DataMiner version 10.4.8, it will be easier to flexibly control proactive cap detection and anomaly detection for trended parameters.
But those are not the only things we’ve changed recently!
- We now have a style guide for dashboards and low-code apps, which includes both guidelines to create user-friendly and attractive dashboards and apps, and practical tips to make the creation process easier.
- Explore our new tutorials:
- Creating your first element on a DaaS system: In this 30-minute tutorial, you will learn how to set up a free DaaS system and create your very first element, which will allow you to monitor a website of your choice.
- Using an SLA to monitor a power service: In this 20-minute tutorial, you will learn how to use an SLA to keep track of power service issues and set up an alarm template to monitor and visualize alarms for city streets with power problems.
- Leveraging feeds in a web component: In this 5-minute tutorial, you will learn how to embed another webpage directly into a dashboard or low-code app using a web component.
- Troubleshooting information has been added for self-hosted data storage setups with Cassandra (which you won’t ever need if you go for the easy solution and switch to STaaS 😊).
