I have multiple DMA configs all using different DMA versions. They each represent a different test setup.
How do I move these to new hardware?

Hi Mieke,
A possible option (which I was able to test) is to perform a backup of the existing configs that you have on your old PC/server and restore them on the new DMA Config. This implies that you will need to create a new config for each DMA version that you have in your old PC/server.
Things to keep in mind:
- The DMA ID that will be used in the new server/PC must be the same as the old server/PC
- Since you will probably use a new DataMiner installer in the new server/PC, switching to (or installing) an older DMA version might not work as expected. Please keep in mind this in case you are dealing with old DataMiner configs
- When taking the backup of your existing DMA configs, if possible try to take a Configuration Backup (without database). In this way you will not need to worry about the database configuration in the new PC/server

This is an untested procedure, but I think this should work:
- Install a blank DataMiner on the new system
- enable advanced settings for the Skyline Taskbar Utility
- enable configs
- wait for the configs to be enabled
- stop DataMiner on the new system
- stop Skyline Taskbar Utility on the new system
- Copy everything from the old C:\Skyline DataMiner Configs to the same folder on the new system, overwrite as needed to also overwrite the blank system
- backup and copy all database files/configurations to the new system
- reboot the new system
