Hi All,

Can we link a shape in Visio to open the Element Alarm Page?

First, link a shape to the element:

Element   *MyElementName*

Then set the Page shape data to “:alarms”.

Page         :Alarms

Edit: Apparently this is possible, see the post from Sebastiaan. The below answer explains an alternative.

You can accomplish an almost identical behavior by having a clickable shape on your Visio to open the Alarm Console.

For this you need this Shape Data field:

AlarmSummary:all||||FilterContext=*

Optionally, you can also add this Shape Data field to have a proper name for the opened Alarm Tab card. Note, this only available from DataMiner 10.0.2 onwards.

AlarmTab:Name=MyFilteredTab
