I have no clear answer for that specific connector, but we have an active EPM setup where DCHP messages are converted to syslog messages to inform DataMiner about the newly assigned IP.

The expected rate there is around 200 messages/second.

As you understand it is dangerous to purely look at that number, do note that everything depends on the process that is triggered after the message is received.  Are these sequential processes that are started, how long does the triggered process take, can it be distributed across the cluster, ...
