What does SLSpiHost do and what is the effect of the process disappearing?
We saw this happening right before a server reboot. It might be that this fairly new process is not being shut down properly and it appears crashing.
There was indeed an issue that sounds similar in versions before 10.2.5, see release note 32818.
So the solution is to get the service registered.
Is it as simple as running the Register DataMiner as Service.bat ?

I have the same issue in a DMS with 15 agents (DataMiner version 10.2.12-CU1). The first agent reports this process disappearing.

Sorry, I’m not sure anymore how it was resolved in my case.
I believe it’s best to take up contact with our support on techsupport@skyline.be.
It’ll also make sure that this event is registered and tracked properly.
If SLSpiHost crashed this should have minimal impact on the operational status of your DataMiner system. Typically SLSpiHost crashes are related to NATS issues, which could affect the proper functioning of your DMS so I would advise further investigating that.
