Hi All,
We would like to create a Dashboard for Arista7060 and Nexus93180 in our Lab for InterBEE2023 in Japan.
We would like to show linkup/down, PTP trending and etc.
Please advise.
Cheers,
Motoki
Hi Motoki,
There are actually many examples and use cases you can explore to get an idea.
You can find them in the DataMiner Dojo use cases or on the Ziine platform.
Here are some interesting use cases I found in the Dojo Use Cases that could be related to your requirements:
Cisco – Tech Partner Integrations
Switch configuration with DataMiner Low-Code Apps
Arista – Tech Partner Integrations
You can also get a lot of ideas on the Ziine platform, where you can perform hands-on testing on the Dashboard and Apps. If you don't have access to Ziine, you can refer to this link.
Hi All,
Thanks for sharing some info.
I just deployed the visio of Cisco Nexus now.
How can I import in the dashboard?
Hi Motoki-san,
You can use the Visual Overview component in the Dashboard to display the Cisco Nexus Visio. Please find more information at this link:
https://docs.dataminer.services/user-guide/Advanced_Modules/Dashboards_and_Low_Code_Apps/Visualizations/Available_visualizations/Other/Visual_Overview_component.html?q=visiodashboard

Hi Motoki,
Please find below a quick sample of how you could create a generic Cisco dashboard.
Hi Ive,
Thanks for sharing the gif of general Cisco dashboard.
But ,the parameter table is “There is no data to display Modifying the filter might show more.”
and it appears that Interface information is not being obtained from the SW.
I will share a screenshot later.
Hi Ive,
This is my current Dashboard Status.
Motoki
Hi Motoki,
Can you verify if the detailed interface table shows any data in the element (in cube)?
If you see the data there, can you double-check if the element runs the selected protocol version (3.0.4.12)?
Hi Ive,
The element seems to be working as version 3.0.4.12, but the “Detailed Interface” on the Cube does not show any data.
Hi Ive again,
additional info, FYI,
It worked on Arista 7060.
Hi Jeeva,
I have dragged and dropped Cisco93180YC into the Visual Overview component and went to the SettingsPage but could not find it.
How can I make it link to Visio?
Motoki
Hi Motoki,
When you use a visual overview component in the dashboard app, you will see the visual overview that is assigned to your element. This is the exact same UI you get on the visual tab of your element in dataminer cube.
This means that if you wish to see the visual here, you’ll need to assign it to your element in cube first.
Alternatively, you could create your own dashboard using the individual dashboard components. I’ll post a sample gif in a dedicated answer.
Next to my comments above, if you have the Visio and would still like to incorporate it, this is possible. However, it seems that you might not have activated the visio yet. To do this, you can go to the protocol & templates app, select your protocol in the first column and right-click your visio (likely it will be named custom), and choose set as active Visio file.
all good!
I will try that !
Additionally, there is also an introduction course on how you can create a dashboard: https://community.dataminer.services/courses/dashboard/
