Is there any way to force Components in Dataminer Dashboards to lock their title and parameter headers, similar to the way you can Freeze Panes in a common spreadsheet app? I have some elements on a dashboard that require vertical scrolling in the element to see everything in the table and when a user scrolls down, the Title and Parameter Headers disappear off the top of the list. I'm getting this behavior using Pivot Tables and Alarm Tables.
Hi Matt,
This is currently not possible, the Pivot table & Alarm table scroll their entire content at once. The other tables in Dashboards, the Parameter table and regular Table, do have this feature automatically and only scroll their rows. If you can get your data into one of those table, using parameters or queries, you can already solve your problem.
I'll create a task on our backlog to align this behavior between all tables.
Hi Matt,
At the moment, it’s not possible to lock the header of a table.
If you’d like, you can suggest this as a new feature here: https://community.dataminer.services/feature-suggestions/. If there’s enough interest from the community, we’ll consider adding it in a future update.
Thanks, Wout. I think the table behavior should be aligned across the board for consistency. I created this feature request to keep track https://community.dataminer.services/new-feature-suggestions/freeze-table-column-headers-in-pivot-table-alarm-table-in-dashboards/
