I'm trying the use slow poll mode for one element. I verified when the device is disconnected, DataMiner doesn't poll the device anymore, as I stop seeing commands passing by Stream Viewer as expected. However, when I turn on the device, DataMiner doesn't resume the polling, and remains in that state until I restart the element.
This driver uses three connections: SNMP, Serial and HTTP. When the device is disconnected, the three interfaces go down. Am I missing something? Does the driver require some special configuration to support slow poll?
Please share your DataMiner version where you have encountered this.(via the About)
More info on slow poll and how to integrate this can be found in:
1. DataMiner Help (available on your DMS): search for "slow poll settings" and select "Adding and Deleting Elements"
2. DataMiner Development Library (available via DCP DataMiner Resources): search for "Ping Groups", this is used for SNMP & HTTP connections and "Ping Pair" for Serial connections.
If the definition is correct, this could be a Software Issue. Please contact your Skyline Contact (e.g. TAM) or Techsupport to report this.
My Dataminer version is 9.6.13.0-8747
