Hi Bruno,

As you can see in the DataMiner Compute Requirements you can install ElasticSearch on a Windows or Linux based system.

My personal preference is to use a dedicated Linux server.

Jens, do you know if there’s a list of preferred Linux distros for this?

You can choose your linux distro as you like, just take a look at the support matrix (for 6.8.x)
