If you strictly only want to monitor the Densite chassis, then I would go with the Miranda Densite connector. Both connectors provide the same chassis-level monitoring capabilities, including fan status, power supply status, and slot status.

The Miranda IControl General however extends beyond monitoring the chassis by allowing you to monitor the individual cards that can be plugged into the Densite frame.

So depending on how much visibility you need; If chassis monitoring is sufficient, the Miranda Densite connector is the simpler option. If you anticipate needing card-level monitoring now or in the future, the Miranda iControl General connector provides that additional capability.
