Dataminer server health checks and notifications

Hi Everyone

Thanks again for your support.

Is there a way to monitor the disk space on the Dataminer server itself?
Monitoring localhost with elements would use a license.
If I have Failover on two units, I would use that amount.
Does Dataminer have such a feature as a health check?
And I would like to send some kind of notification to the user if the disk usage is above 95%.

Hi Yuki, there is actually a BPA test present: Minimum Requirements Check | DataMiner Docs.

However it requires WMI to be enabled.

Another option is to use the Microsoft Platform Driver & to generate an alarm on the table paramters in the Disk Info page.

Extra note, the Microsoft Platform connector is free of charge for monitoring the servers hosting the DataMiner Agents.

Perhaps we should exclude it from the license count?

This could be indeed a new feature suggestion. It would imply checking localhost connection, but also specific IPs as typically in a cluster the Microsoft element monitoring a DMA is hosted on another DMA.
