Hi, I have created a correlation rule to create a ticket (action). However, the rule does not run, likely because the ticket field 'State' does not accept all types of text (see screenshot). However, the State field in my ticket has a valid state 'New'. Adding to this, the 'State' field configuration in the correlation UI cannot be left empty either (I.e. choosing 'No Override' is not allowed)
Appreciate advise. I have the example configured on the Ziine demo machine in Skyline, that can be instantly accessed.
Thx!
Hi Steven,
After a quick investigation, this seems to be a software issue.
If we look at the correlation logging we can see that the ticket is created in the background.
With the client test tool you can see that the ticket is created but that the State field is not correctly parsed to the correct state value.
In red the created ticket, in green the expected field value.
A new software task should be raised to tackle this.
Hi Steven,
I noticed that the "Enable this rule" checkbox at the complete top left-hand corner is not checked. Can you please tick the box, save the rule and try again?
Thanks for the swift response Ive! I checked the box (you do have an eagle gaze -;)). The behavior did not change though. Still have the ‘State does not accept all types of text. Check the Ticketing domain fields to see which values is needed’. I tried to fill out the string ‘New’ as well as its enum value. No difference. THanks
