Can you switch from feature release to main release of SRM?

There is a 10.3.0.4 main release version of SRM and a 1.2.35 feature release of SRM (DataMiner SRM installation package - DataMiner Dojo).

From the Release notes on 1.2.35 you can see it should be DataMiner 10.3.2.0 – 12627 or higher and it is not compatible with the main release track. The Release notes on 10.3.0.4 say DataMiner 10.3.0 [CU0] or higher and it is not compatible with the Feature release track.

I want to upgrade my DataMiner system from version 10.3.8 feature release to 10.4.0 CU1 main release. I would be under the assumption that 1.2.35 would be compatible with DataMiner 10.3.2.0 – 12627 or higher for feature release and therefore compatible with 10.4.0 CU0 (next main release) or higher as well. Is this assumption correct?

Hi Michiel,

Yes, your assumption is correct you can run SRM 1.2.35 with 10.4.0 Main Release.

You can also use the SRM main release package with 10.4.0, it should work fine as well.
