Are filter boxes removed on DCF tables?

Hi,

We noticed after an upgrade to 10.3.2 that we lost the capability to filter on the DCF tables ('GENERAL PARAMETERS' => 'DataMiner Connectivity Framework'). It seems to be linked with RN35196 (10.3.2), where filter boxes should not be shown when the filter option is set to false. So it seems a fix has removed these filter boxes, but they were very handy to search in these tables.

Is there a way for us to check how these 'GENERAL PARAMETERS' are defined?

If the filter option is indeed set to false, how can we change this?

Hi,

This table definition is hard-coded in the DataMiner software and cannot be externally checked.

When I verified the definition, I can see that it is fixed set to filter:false .

This cannot be changed externally, as the information template also doesn't support changing this that is also not an option.

I would suggest to create a task for this to request if it can be changed, or if there would be any reason why the filter would need to stay disabled.

Regards,

Hi Michiel,

We are aware of this problem and have a task on our backlog to have this fixed. Unfortunately there is no workaround for this.

The tables on the General Parameters page are defined in an internal protocol that is baked into the software. It cannot be modified manually.

As far as I can see, tables like "[Connections]" do appear to have explicit "filter:false" options defined.

I would suggest requesting a software update to re-evaluate the filter options for these generic parameter tables.
