Hi. We are system integrator. Appreciate if someone could provide the Excel format of access control level or user rights/permissions for us to provide to our customers. Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Mohammad,

As far as I know, currently there is no out-of-the-box functionality to import permissions based on a file.

Based on your case, I will try to take a different approach. Instead of asking end users to choose what permissions should be applied (for each specific module), maybe you could ask what preset should be applied. Currently we have the following presets:

  • No rights: Deselects all rights.
  • Operators: Provides access to basic DataMiner functionality, without any permission to edit or delete elements, services, Automation scripts, documents, etc.
  • Power users: Provides full access to the DMS, without any permission to change the DMS configuration.
  • Administrators (read-only access to security): Selects all rights, except security configuration rights.
  • Administrators: Selects all rights.

More information in DataMiner Docs

Hope it helps.
