Bye-bye, Internet Explorer!

Internet Explorer has been on the chopping block for some time now, with official support ending in June 2022. But now the end truly is in sight for this old browser.

After disabling Internet Explorer in the Windows 11 release, Microsoft will now also disable it in existing Windows 10 systems. With the upcoming security update of February 2023, Internet Explorer will be permanently disabled in several versions of Windows 10.

Are you still one of the people who like to use the DataMiner Cube browser app? While we definitely recommend the desktop app instead, you can continue to use the browser app with the IE mode in Microsoft Edge. Windows will continue to support this mode at least through 2029.
