Juniper Networks Manager (DMS-DRV-1216)
The Catalog says that this connector is used to monitor and configure the Juniper Networks Manager.
Does this mean that this connector is not talking directly to the switches but rather to an EMS from Juniper ?
I am looking for a connector similar to Cisco Manager which manages multiple types of Cisco switches directly.
Hi Didier, I’m afraid the information in the catalog for this connector might be misleading. Because the connector “Juniper Networks Manager (DMS-DRV-1216)’ is indeed used to integrate directly with Juniper equipment (Routers, Switches). Indeed, just like the connector “Cisco Manager”.
Here’s a screenshot of the (forecasting on the) interface utilization on this element. In the page overview of the element card (on the right-hand side), you can get a glance at the information the connector is retrieving from the Juniper equipment.

Juniper Networks Manager connector works like Cisco Manager – it talks directly with the Juniper product. Since the data models (MIB) is the same for different Juniper products, the connector has this more generic name as ‘Networks Manager’.
