Hi All.

What versions of DataMiner do we need to use to work with ADFS + SAML for https connections and on which version does it work with the Cube client?

Hi Jarek,

I believe any currently supported version of DataMiner supports SAML nowadays. E.g. I do find a 'since version 10.1.5' on this page: Configuring SAML with Microsoft Entra ID as identity provider | DataMiner Docs.

Cube should also support it since that same version, so any supported version.

That being said, the more recent the version is, the better. There have been several improvements made to SAML so I would personally recommend at least 10.4.

A ticket was raised for this enquiry, and guidance on the correct configuration was provided.

If you would like to configure SAML with ADFS, please refer to the following guide:
Configuring SAML with Microsoft Entra ID as identity provider | DataMiner Docs
You will need to configure the corresponding settings on ADFS as outlined in the documentation.

SSO is now working for both Cube and web apps.
