Example: We have a 2 DMA -> DMS that originally was setup for local time and they are in different time zones US East and West Coast.
Use Case: Customer wishes to standardize all servers and align to UTC.
Question: What would the process be to handle the scenario and considerations ahead of the work?
I would imagine if we are setting back in time, there will be overlap in trending data timestamps, etc.

I believe that the DB records are stored in UTC time, even if the DB server is on local time.
To change the server time in your use-case you should stop DataMiner, Cassandra and OpenSearch DB software.
Only after that change the timezone to UTC on all these servers and make sure they are in sync with the same time server.
Then start up the DB software and verify it's running.
After that start up DataMiner.
The new data should be stored to the DB also in UTC (as before), and not affect the existing data.
In any case, it is worth contacting our Techsupport departement to let them know when you plan on doing this activity.
Potentially they can have someone on standby, just in case.
Can you check if a time server and time client combo will suffice your need ?
