As per our help, the [AggregationRule] placeholder can accept as an argument a remote primary key. I have created a simple aggregation rule counting rows of a table, without any condition, but I can't make it visible in a Visio shape, apparently because of this argument. Under this form, what is the remote key, and how can I know its value?
P.S.: I can, however, use the other form DmaID/elementID:4005:aggregationIndex to show the calculated count.
Hi Gelber,
The definition below is taken from the DataMiner Help:
Remote primary key of the table row on which the aggregation rule is calculated (string or numeric value).
Note: In case a discrete is used for the remote primary key, do not use the display value.
It is not necessary to fill in all the values, so you can leave this empty if you don't need this.
Thanks Jarno, but I’m afraid still not totally clear for me. Does the term “Remote” refer to an element? Or an internal object from the Aggregation element? In the latter, how can I tell which is the value, in case I need it?
