Changes and evolutions of firmware on products is covered by the DataMiner Maintenance & Support contract. So if you have an active DataMiner Maintenance & Support service, changes and evolutions on any of the firmware of your products is covered. Note that this is for changes and evolutions (e.g. new metrics or functionality is added), if an API is entirely deprecated by the vendor and a brand new API is introduced, then this requires a complete new interface driver that needs to be purchased. Or to put it differently, the DataMiner Maintenance & Support service covers for evolutions of a purchased DataMiner driver, not the replacement of a DataMiner driver.
