Visual Overview – Display an element name depending on the param value from a 3rd element

I'd like to display the element name of one of two elements depending on the parameter value from a third element.

The Show condition therefore needs to be set on the third element, and as a subshape I want an Info object, but that one should be about the Element defined on the subshape.
Currently the info displays information about the third element, which is defined on the group shape.

Maybe this is not the preferred way of working, but what would be the best way to accomplish this?

By default, child shapes of a Visio shape that is linked to a service or an element automatically inherit the element shape data of the parent shape.

In cases where you want to e.g. link a child shape to another service or element, you can use the NoCopyElementProperty option to disable this automatic inheritance.

Note that there is also inheritance for a shape linked to a booking and an EPM object. Since the NoCopyElementProperty can be confusing for these other shapes, a more generic option has been added to disable inheritance.

Add the following value to the Options shape data:
AllowInheritance=False
