Hello, I am looking for a way to assign the properties of a shape in a Visio to relate to that Visio's 'Parent View' rather than [This View]. Is there something available to assign to the 'View' properties of a shape would function like [Parent View]?

Hi Paul,

There was already a question posted regarding this topic (how to link a shape to the parent view - DataMiner Dojo). Maybe one of the answers can help you further?

To make it short... Today this is not yet supported by means of a placeholder. However, there is already an open feature suggestion (Visio : add parent view place holder - DataMiner Dojo). Please upvote this if you're interested to have this available.
