Hello Dataminer community,
First time poster here...
Is there a reason why my connector styles aren't translating directly from Visio to Dataminer?
The Visio connectors snap and display dynamically, where are the Dataminer representation are just straight lines to and from each connecting point.
Is there a recommended style in order to properly display this visualisation?
(Ignore the large blocks of black - i'm redacting sensitive IP information)
Thanks all,
James

Hello Toon,
Thank you for the response.
There is no DCF utilized in this diagram. The connection shape is the Curved Connector without any shape data.
Visual Overview does not support all ways of drawing shapes and lines that Visio itself does. I suggest working with straight lines as these are definitely supported.
Thank you for the support.

James, you could also take a look at the Node Edge Graph component of the Dashboard interface – https://community.dataminer.services/use-case/node-edge-graph/ This might give you the curved structure you are looking for automatically. Then if needed in Visio, you can just reference the HTML page.
Thank you for the suggestion Steve, i'll explore this option.
Welcome to the Dojo James! Could you share some more info about your setup? Is this a setup that uses DCF, what options do you have configured on your shapes (such as the Connection shape), etc. I have some ideas as to what is causing this, but that will make it easier to narrow it down.
