You can create an element and a view with the same name. You can’t create multiple elements or multiple views with the same name. They have to be unique so they can be identified in flat lists.
I suggest to add a prefix or suffix to the name, for example “MyDevice – Management” and “MyDevice – Polling”.

I am afraid that this is not possible at the moment. DataMiner does not allow to create two elements (or views) with the same name.
However, there is a way to have two elements with the same name in the context of a service layer. When creating a service, you can define an alias to the element included in the service. For example:
