Hi,
Is it possible to know how many Mbps will pass from the user to a Dataminer’s VM (and the opposite) when one user is connected. (Knowing that I will follow your recommendations about the throughput).
If you have a “mean” or an “interval” it would be great
Hi Evan
what do you mean when you say "passing from the user to a Dataminer's VM". Are you talking about a user that is using Cube to interface with the system?
Wkr
HI Baptiste,
Yes for exemple or a user that is using a HTML App.
Best Regards
As Jeroen has already mentioned this is impossible to predict since it depends on the pages the user would open.
Hi.
It is also worth mentioning the answer in the following question: https://community.dataminer.services/question/network-bandwidth-required/
The first topic "Northbound API (Cube connection to the DMS)" is the one related to Evan's question here.
Then, the answers for another question (link bellow) further elaborate on the network bandwidth dimensioning for a geographically redundant setup:
From what I read it’s about the throughput from server to client and the other direction.
Difficult to say since it depends on the ‘activity’ on the server and the amount and nature of the cards that the Cube client has open.
