Hi Dojo,
Please, what is the recommended VISIO version for DataMiner10?
And what is the oldest version still supported? (2013, 2016?)
I understand that when moving to O365 subscription plans, Plan 2 is the one that supports grid, layers and ruler and the only plan that can run as a desktop application:
In terms of one-time purchase, instead, is everything still the same with the Standard version being sufficient and no specific functions for DataMiner from the Professional package?
Pictures from the Microsoft website linked in this other dojo post:

Thanks
On a side note: MS also announced a web version of Visio, which is standard going to be included in the 365 subscription. We are eagerly looking forward to see if we can get a chance to evaluate it and see if it can be fit into the picture. I guess the key requirements would be to be able to provide a design in the vsdx format. But then there is also the question if we will be able to find a similar workflow like we have today (i.e. being able to click edit in Cube and immediately be able to load it and start editing in Visio and save it there and see the results immediately in a live environment). There might be options there to do that with vsdx files in the 365 cloud and link it with our dataminer cloud maybe. But to my knowledge we have not been able yet to get early access to this version of Visio that they announced earlier this year.
Understood – indeed the “Edit Visio” in Cube is currently relying on this local path for a desktop APP:

So is it fair to say that O365 VisioPlan1 does not meet the DataMiner requirements?
Is Skyline running more with One-time purchases or have you tested alredy the O365 Plan 2?
