sql file in Backup folder although running Cassandra

Overnight a 22GB sql file was added to the Backup folder.  The strange thing is that Cassandra is run on this DMA.
According to the information we have, it’s also the first time this happens.
Why would this happen, and how do we prevent this in the future?

The Cassandra data is also saved into a file with an sql extension during the time of backup.
