Good Day
We're trying to build multiple dashboards, which has been done, which contains main and sub categories and the provide each specific client with their own dashboard view without seeing the other clients view. Can this be done and how? Thus far we can only remove view access of the data but it still leaves the client to see all other clients and also it will show "broken/empty" graphs instead of data.
Example (Client 1 must not see Client 2):
#Client 1
#Sub1
#Sub2
#Client 2
#Sub1
#Sub2
Hi Zean,
Limiting user access to certain dashboards can be configured in 2 ways:
- Upon creating a dashboard, the user is presented with some security presets.
Three presets are available:
- User access on an existing dashboard can be changed by editing the dashboard and going to the Settings. You’lll find a section related to User access:
Here you can configure which users and user groups have view access and which have edit access.
Note that these settings only apply to the access of dashboards and not necessarily to the underlying data. Securing data should be done in the system center (or through dashboard sharing).
Hi Zean,
You can do this with Dashboard Sharing.
Please take note that prior DataMiner 10.1.12 version, this feature is only available in the soft launch. After this version, this feature is available if the DataMiner is connected to the cloud.
You may refer to the DataMiner Docs link for more info.
