I have installed a new self-hosted dataminer system using the 10.4 installer, and configured with STaaS. .
While working on HTTPS configuration, I decided to run the Security Advisory BPA and it reports that the instance is a DaaS instance, and presumably, doesn't go any further in the BPA:
The BPA is 1.0.0.0 dated 9/3/2025.
How can I be sure the full SecurityAdvisoryBPA will run on a self-hosted system installed using the new 10.4 installer?

You encountered a known issue that occurs because DataMiner Agents installed by the 10.4 installer and DaaS agents are licensed somewhat similarly. An updated BPA with improved DaaS detection is available from 10.4.0 CU 11, 10.5.0 and 10.5.2 onwards, so I would recommend to upgrade to the latest available version of the track you are following.
