RPC server is unavailable error while trying to log in on Client Test tool

Hello everyone,

As the title says, when trying to use the client test tool and connecting to the localhost, I’m receiving the following error:


Any ideas what is causing this?

Typically, an error “The RPC server is unavailable” indicates that one of the DataMiner processes has crashed and is no longer running on the server.

Yes, I think that’s it. SLDataminer crashed

Hi Ana,

A wild guess, but maybe your system only allows HTTPS?
In that case you’ll have to use the hostname defined in the certificate to connect.
