replacing APIGateway certificate

Hello,

Our security team instructed us to replace the auto signed certificate “Auto-Created Cert by APIGateway” by a new certificate signed by a certificate authority. We are going to replace the old certificate with the new one in the management console but not sure if that would be enough.

Do we need to configure DataMiner or the APIGateway service to use the new certificate as well and if so how?

Thanks

Hi,

If the CN and the SANs are different in the new certificate compared to the self-signed one, you might need to change some configuration in DataMiner (maintenancesettings.xml) and IIS (the binding). This page from the docs explains how to configure HTTPS in IIS and DataMiner.

Kind regards,
