Is it possible to pull syslogs from every node connected to DMCube
As this question has been inactive for a long time, we will now close it. If you want further assistance, could you post a new question with more detailed information?
Hi Usman,
Can I know for which connector/driver you are requesting for Syslog?
It is possible to receive Syslog messages if the device has Syslog capabilities.
We have implemented receiving Syslog messages features in our Arista Manager and Cisco Manager connectors.
More info on your use case can help: indeed it's just a matter of the protocol connecting to the target you want to monitor.
Worth mentioning: in general, syslog is so dense of information that I'd personally recommend to rely on it only for post-fault finding.
In a real-time monitoring scenario, I'd tend to use other sources of info, providing fresh data, rather than huge logs. That keeps your system fast and reliable.
It doesn't mean you can't use Syslog for monitoring, but depending on the use case, the usage you do for it could be very limited (especially if you want to diagnose problems before they create an outage).

Do you mean getting info from a Syslog server running on the DMAs of the cluster?
