It is possible to obtain alarm statistics for elements, views, and services (Linking a shape to an alarm filter (dataminer.services)) and display them at the visual overview level. However, this does not seem possible when it comes to EPM Fields.
Currently, when trying to display alarm statistics for an EPM field we need to resort to linking the shapes to actual elements and views related to the field in order to obtain the necessary values.
The use cases we are trying to meet are:
- Obtain the alarm statistics using the EPM Field. We, currently, link below shape to the actual element instead of the field as workaround
- Click on the shape containing the alarm statistics and open the alarm console with all the alarms impacting the field. We, currently, do this targeting the element instead of the filed, as workaround. We also use the Alarm section of the EPM field to provide the Alarm overview
Are the above use cases achievable in any way using the current visual overview capabilities or should this be evaluated for potential new software features?
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
I believe this is possible when creating an alarm filter that filters on the Alarm.System.Name and Alarm.System.Type.
Alarm.System.Type should like to the field name (in this case CCAP Core) and Alarm.System.Type to the instance that is selected (in this case AEP6RPCC03).
