MouseOver not working with Element/Parameter

I have a toggle button which also displays Parameter information.

However when adding the shape data Element, Parameter and ParameterSubscriptionFilter on all the child shapes in the group the mouse over effect stops working.

Is there a way around this?

Hi Robin,

Whenever you add a Element shape data to a shape, the shape will automatically be converted to a hyperlink to the element.  Can you try adding the shape data 'Enabled' with the value 'False'? (Disabling the default hyperlink behavior of a linked shape)

I’m guessing you mean setting it to value ‘False’? ‘Disabled’ actually made it a hyperlink again and ‘False’ didn’t have any effect.

Indeed, I meant ‘False’. I updated the answer accordingly.
If possible, can you include some screenshots to your question so we can check if there is a workaround?
