I'm trying to connect the switch with the dataminer on a VM, after uploading the MIB files and finishing the layout there is no data showing from the switch. When I was creating the element I wrote the switch's IP address and it showed no alarms or errors. How can I se the traffic and monitor the switch.

When creating an element to monitor a device, you first need to make sure you are using the correct connector. You can browse the list of connectors in our Catalog. Usually, you will find information on how to configure an element on the corresponding connector page. For example, Cisco Manager.
Depending on the connector, there are several element settings that need to be configured when adding a new element.
Once the element is created, you can view the communication traffic between DataMiner and the device in real time using the Stream Viewer.
