On the requirements page the minimum OS version mentioned is Server 2012 R2. It's also mentioned that with this OS DataMiner will not provide all features.

What is the minimum OS version for DataMiner to have all features?
Hi Kevin, indeed. It doesn’t mention if Server 2016 and 2019 will provide all support for DataMiner.
This is important when a DataMiner upgrade is planned to know if an upgrade of the OS is also needed, and to which version it should be upgraded.
Sometimes there are spare servers who do not yet have the latest OS version.
Hi Jeroen,
I believe that page might be slightly misleading, Windows Server 2012 R2 still supports new DataMiner features. There used to be problems with hosting .NET Core related services (e.g. Dashboard Sharing or API Deployment) on Windows Server 2012, but these are still supported on Server 2012 R2.
The IIS version installed on Server 2012 R2 does not support HTTP 2, but as far as I know no major DataMiner features depend on this (there may be some drivers that do, but I have no overview on this).
The minimum supported OS will also depend on your DataMiner version. For example, DataMiner 10.0, 10.1 and 10.2 all support Windows Server 2012 R2. There may be features in the future (so probably 10.3 or higher) that no longer work on Server 2012 R2, but I can't think of any currently.
Do note that there are some security concerns with running Server 2012 (R2) and we recommend using a more recent version. Windows Server 2022 should give the best protection.
Hi Jeroen, it is probably stated on the same page, but doesn’t satify your question?
Operating System
We recommend that you use the latest Windows Server version. This will not only allow you to make use of the latest features, but also ensures that you will get support and security patches for as long as possible. At the moment, Windows Server 2022 is the recommended version.
