In a Failover configuration is there a way to have Microsoft Platform elements to monitor both DMAs, even after the system switches to the Backup DMA?
Thanks

Hi Jef,
To achieve this you can do the following:
- Create Element for the Main Server with the Physical IP of that machine,
- Create Element for the Failover Server with the Physical IP of that machine.
Do note that you’ll need to configure the Security Settings via the Security Settings window, where the Domain name, User Name and Password can be configured. The status shows if the DMA is connected to the server you want to monitor.
More details on the driver can be found here: https://catalog.dataminer.services/result/driver/251

Hi Jeff,
You can do this by using the Agent IP instead of the Virtual IP for your Microsoft elements.

No problem at all
Thanks for the info. I feel stupid that I didn’t think of that. My bad. Sorry for wasting everyone’s time.
