Maximum allowed latency between Dataminer Agents

Solved460 views16th July 2024latency ping ping monitoring

Hello Dojo,

We are facing some sporadic network issues in one of our agents and we are seeing there are some latency peaks when setting up some pings with Ping Monitoring LCA.

I can see currently some Max ping times of 91ms. In this context, I wonder if there is a reference value of how much is considered a too big latency between agents, that could lead to issues (for instance, I am seeing some Error During Synchronization notice alarms that I think could be related).

Thanks for the help

Hi Jon,

Network requirements (among latency) are also described here: DataMiner Compute Requirements | DataMiner Docs. This on its own doesn't help you much probably, so I would get in touch with the infrastructure team to align further on this.

Best regards,

Joey

Hey Joey,

This gave a first limit to address the issue. For more a more technical answer, I will indeed contact the Infrastructure team. This was already helpful though. Thanks for the help!
