I am having an issue with the Cloud connection on our Staging System running on DataMiner 10.2
The Cloud Session shows: Invalid
When tried to "Renew Session" I got the " Grant Admin Consent", when clicked got the Aeed Admin Approval window.
Clicking the highlighted option nothing is happening, I am returning back to the login page, and I am not sure what has changed to make the connection lost.
The renew session can be required if the cloud session couldn’t be renewed automatically for too long (eg. no internet access or something else being wrong).
The manual renew session step can be done by a person who is Owner of the DMS.
You can find the Owner(s) in the Admin app by: (See also Giving a user access to cloud features)
- Selecting the correct organization at the top right;
- Click the correct DMS in the menu on the left;
- View the Users page in that submenu
The owner can also make other people Owner to let them do this. See Changing the role of a DCP user.
The grant admin consent has nothing to do with the renew session. It's for another feature coming later (see Grant Admin consent for Chat Integration).
If I remember correctly it’s about 7 days.
I managed to renew the cloud connection session successfully when the Owner set my user role to “Owner”.
