Hi All,
I am attempting to install "Indexing Engine" on a standalone DMA running 10.3.7 with no elements. I triggered the installation from Search & Indexing (System Center), using the offline package (elastic-binaries.dmupgrade).
From all appearances the majority of the installation appears to be complete, Elasticsearch has been installed and configured. I have attempted to reinstall the engine multiple times but it gets stuck at the same point.
It keeps repeating "Waiting for all master nodes to be ready (0 out of 2 are currently ready)" and I can't seem to progress it. I have attempted to see if it would move on if I started the Elasticsearch service, but unfortunately, that didn't do anything.
With Elasticsearch running it appears to be happy, but not sure if there is an underlying config issue preventing it from progressing.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Hi Aston,
The elastic installer uses the primary IP of DataMiner. I believe in your case, due to the presence of multiple network adapters, this primary IP could have gotten mixed up. Can you confirm if you have multiple adapters ?
You can specify Network adapters in DataMiner.xml as mentioned in DataMiner.xml | DataMiner Docs; this will tell DataMiner to read the NICs in the order you specify. So this way, you can put the correct IP first via the interface and check if the installation completed successfully.
Hi Aston,
