Hi Dojo,
I want to add some logos based on URL's in Visio. The pictures are not scaled correctly in the shape.
I don't find anything about scaling/resize options.
In Dojo I only found this thread: https://community.dataminer.services/question/videothumbnail-resize
I'm using Link: #http://<DMAIP>/VideoThumbnails/Video.htm?type=Generic Images&source=[param:API Database,108,*[Property:KEY]*]
Thanks in advance!
As was stated in the comments above, html is the solution. The easiest way is to put an html file in your webpages on your agent and input the image reference into it through a get parameter just like you do the source in the video htm example.
Hi Stefan,
I am not sure if currently there is a new property/feature that allows you to scale/resize the logo, but in the past (for a similar use case), I proceeded as follows:
- Using an image editor, I cropped the logo image using a specific ratio (e.g. 2:1)
- In the Visio file, I resized the shape that will contain the logo using the same ratio (in this case, 2:1)
The most important part was to keep the ratio of the logo with the shape.
Hope it helps.
Hi Miguel,
in this case I can't edit the images. I'm getting them from a database, which is only providing a link. There are several different ratio's inside. Is it maybe better to use a Dashboard component?
Hi Miguel,
in Dashboards I could configure a html component how I need it. But now I have a problem, when I copy directly the link for this specific component, I guess I can't provide the url which I have in Visio to the component or?
Hi Toon,
many thanks. I guess this is the best solution!
